CVS - 12/28-1/3/09

I'm starting off with plenty of ECB's from having rolled them for the last 6 months, however it is easy to get started with just a few dollars.

Today I did two transactions to take advantage of the coupons I had. Plus I didn't want to get any ECB's that were too large.

Transaction #1


Here's what I got:

1 Nature's Bounty Vitamin D - 4.99

1 CVS Pretzel Twists - 2.49
1 CVS Peanut Butter filled pretzels - .74 (B1G1 50% off)
2 Children's throat cooler - 4.99/each (monthly ECB offer)
1 Nasogel Gel spray - 7.99 (monthly ECB offer)
1 M&M Peanut - .89 (filler)

I used these coupons:

1 - $5/25 (email)
2 - 2.00 off Nature's Bounty vitamins (Sign up for Healthy Rewards)
1 - 2.00 off Nasogel
1 - B1G1F Children's throat cooler
1 - 3.00 off any CVS product (See HERE for details & link)
1 - 7.29 ECB
1 - 5.00 ECB

Total - .90 OOP (includes tax)

ECB's Earned = $20.97 ($3.00 NB vitamins, $9.98 Throat coolers, $7.99 Nasogel)

Here's what I got:

2 Natures Bounty Potassium - 4.99 (B1G1F)
1 CVS facial tissues - 1.99
1 CVS facial tissues w/ lotion - .99 (B1G1 50% off)
1 Nasogel gel spray - 7.99 (monthly ECB offer)
1 M&M Peanut - .89 (filler)

I used these coupons:

1 - $3/15 (Ebay - expired 12/31 but my CVS takes expired coupons - YMMV)
2 - 2.00 off Nature's Bounty vitamins (Sign up for Healthy Rewards)
1 - 2.00 off Nasogel

1 - 3.99 ECB

Total - .88 OOP (includes tax)

ECB's Earned = $10.99 ($3.00 NB vitamins, $7.99 Nasogel)

By combining the right coupons with the weekly and monthly sales I have increased my ECB's by $15.68. ECB's are just like cash at CVS - the only items they cannot be used for are alcohol, cigarettes, prescriptions and gift cards.
