Week 2 results:
Last week I challenged myself to go grocery shopping but spend less than $20 total.
AND I DID!
Total: 17.29 w/ tax
Saved: 27.12 (62%) And I got everything I needed. Plus a treat or two. :-)
I woke up Monday very sick and extremely congested so as you can tell I kept our menu on the easy side:
Monday - Sliders & roasted potatoes
Tuesday - Chili beans
Wednesday - Frozen pizza
Thursday - Dinner provided by league sponsor
Friday - We had Mexican @ a local place
Saturday - Baked potatoes topped with chili & cheese
I'm already starting to feel better so next week should have a little more variety. My budget will be $25 since there are some sales/coupons that I want to take advantage of.
How did you do this week?
**UPDATE** I went ahead and shopped Saturday night. Since I only spent .35 @ Kroger (100% savings!!) I shouldn't be anywhere near my $25 budget at the end of this week. I'm leaving it at that amount though just in case another deal comes my way.

We have done very well this whole month with the challenge. This week I had to "restock the pantry" so I spent about $70.00. I was able to buy pork ribs and chicken plus alot more. It should last a few weeks. I hope longer if I can find some great deals over the next few weeks.
