I don't typically shop at Walmart because A) I get better deals on groceries at Kroger since they double coupons and B) there is too much temptation to spend in other departments. But I saw their Labor Day ad and knew I could not pass up $1.78/lb chicken breasts so we went with a strict list and didn't stray from it at all.
Kraft Deluxe mac&cheese - 2.00
-$1/1 (8/8 SS) = 1.00
Tyson Twists - 6.98
-$1.50 (6/20 SS) = 5.48
Gain dish detergent x 2 = .97/each
-$1 (8/29 P&G) = FREE
Milk - 2.52
Bacon - 2.98
Helluva Good Dip - 1.50
Chicken Breasts @1.78/lb = 8.05
Vegetable Peeler - 2.97 (I lost mine!)
Total: $25.29
