**I just realized that the cashier did not deduct my $4/20 coupon that I gave him, but to be honest this trip was kind of a mess. I went to the store with a clear list & coupons ready only to find they had posted a sign saying they will no longer accept expired store coupons (ECBs & CRTs) at this store. (Hoping it's just this store anyway!)

So when I checked out I asked if I could still use the two $1 ones I had that were just expired since the policy was new & I wasn't aware of it till now. I was told no. Because of that I had to use a bigger ECB to pay for my transaction, hence the fillers. I was a little taken back that they would refuse $2 in expired ECBs but I didn't argue because I shop there often and want to have a good relationship with them, but it did result in some confusion at the register.

I was lucky to have the privilege of using expired for so long, and I freely admit that, but I also know with this new policy it will be hard for me to keep rolling my Extra Care Bucks because the deals are few & far between at CVS lately. Blah!

Sadly it seems so many of our favorite stores are changing their rules to make it less friendly for couponers. Have you experienced this in your region?

We've never been able to use expired ECBs....Although Rite-Aid has now started limiting to 4 like coupons per transaction (basically they took the P&G rules and applied it to ALL coupons)...going to make things a little more difficult.
