4/26 Kroger Trip - 59% Saved (...and confirmation on the e-coupon question)
I stopped by Kroger to pick up a few "needs" and a couple coupon deals today only to find that my store didn't have several of the deals being reported by other blogs. And then to test the "e-coupon with a paper coupon" question I decided to buy Wisk and try to use a paper coupon knowing that I had loaded an e-coupon too. (Since both were for $2 I figured worse case scenario meant I would pay $3.99 and get a $2 catalina back - not a bad price for Wisk but more than I would normally pay.)
Anyway...I can confirm the registers at my stores (Mid-Atlantic region) will NOT allow you to use both an e-coupon and a paper coupon. The register rejects the paper coupon if you have an e-coupon for the same item. So in the future I will be really selective on the e-coupons I add since you can only use them once and more importantly they do NOT double.
