I was starting to get concerned about my garden, specifically my tomatoes not flowering when all of a sudden they went crazy! Last week I went out to garden and found lots of blooms on the tomato plants and a few on the pepper plants.
Then this week my cucumber plants have started flowering and growing little cukes.

Since the cukes are greedy little veggies that have taken over that entire corner I went ahead and discarded the two tomato plants I had there.
If you are wondering what the white stuff is around my plants those are egg shells. The last I did my egg treatment (gallon of water + dozen egg shells soaking overnight = good for tomatoes and peppers) I went ahead and put the leftover shells around the stems. I figured it couldn't hurt anything and would keep slugs away.
