**Here's where I messed up. I had planned on buying a couple different things in the frozen food sale but then realized the coupons I had were for a different brand so I had to improvise. Well for some reason I thought that Edy's was part of the sale and even though it IS on sale it was part of the 4-day sale, not the frozen sale (confused yet? yeah me too!) so it didn't count towards my 10 items.

When the $5 discount didn't come off I asked the cashier to ring up an extra Hungry Man (that I didn't have a coupon for!) so I could get the $5 discount. So I ended up with Edy's & an extra Hungry Man that was not on my list.

Also I had read that the Nature Valley bars were part of the General Mills buy 4 items, save $6 promo. They weren't marked so I knew I was taking a chance...and it didn't work. But we needed them and after being surprised with the catalina they weren't too expensive.

So you see even after YEARS of couponing sometimes I make mistakes. :}

That's so funny....that happens to me more than I'd like to admit!!! The catalina issue worries me every time I try it when there aren't signs posted. I have found WAY too many of those catalina deal posts on national websites that just aren't in our area.

You could've returned the Edy's but I know you and your guys ate it that night lol ;)
