*Crockpot Beef Stroganoff*
1- 1 1/2 pounds flank (or round) steak
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 large onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups beef broth (I used beef bouillon cubes)
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/3 cup flour
1 cup sour cream
Slice beef and onions into thin strips. Sprinkle steak strips with salt and pepper; place in the bottom of crockpot with the sliced onion.
Mix garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon and ketchup. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until tender.
Turn control to high and dissolve flour in a small amount of cold water. Add to meat mixture, stirring until blended. Cook on high for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream; turn slow cooker off.
Serve with hot cooked noodles.
Makes 6 servings.
This turned out so good! I wish I could post how delicious this smelled. I cooked it for right at 6 hours before adding the flour. My beef was so tender that it shredded itself as I stirred in the sour cream.
I just happened to have steaks sitting in my freezer but if you don't I think this would be great with ground beef too. Just cook and drain before adding to the crockpot.
Interested in dessert? Check out this applesauce cake that you mix right in the pan that we had after dinner.

This looks yummy. I have two, count them TWO flank steaks in the freezer. I think I might have to pull one of those babies out for dinner tomorrow night. I'd make it tonight but it's 10:13 and its FROZEN.
